Trump Signs Order: IRS to Become Internal Theft Service
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Declaring his commitment to “honesty in government,” Donald Trump announced today that the Internal Revenue Service will officially be renamed the Internal Theft Service.
“Look, everybody hates taxes. Everybody knows it’s theft,” Trump said, unveiling a new IRS logo featuring Uncle Sam reaching into a citizen’s wallet. “We’re just telling it like it is, folks. Radical honesty. Nobody’s ever been more honest than me.”
The change is expected to save millions in reprinting costs, as the agency will simply continue doing the exact same thing under a more accurate name.
Critics argued the move undermines trust in federal institutions. Supporters replied, “What trust?”
