Zohran Mamdani Challenges Trump to Public Beyblade Match
NEW YORK — State Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani stunned reporters today by issuing a direct challenge to Donald Trump: settle political differences with a public Beyblade battle.
“Talk is cheap. Let it rip,” Mamdani declared, slamming his launcher onto a folding table outside Trump Tower. “If he wins, I’ll endorse him. If I win, he has to release his tax returns — unredacted.”
Trump immediately responded on Truth Social, claiming he has “the best Beyblade, a beautiful Beyblade, nobody’s ever seen a Beyblade like mine.” He also promised to bring a “tremendous arena, the biggest arena, very classy, very powerful.”
Political analysts expressed concern that replacing debates with toy battles could cheapen democracy. Polls, however, show 87% of Americans would rather watch two grown men screaming at spinning tops than another presidential town hall.
